Session 1 (8:30-9:25) · Room 107 · Add to calendar

Presented by Olivia LuAllen-Reading Specialist

Description

This session is designed to help educators move from completing the Arkansas ATLAS screener to taking purposeful, data-driven action. Participants will learn how to analyze ATLAS results to identify student strengths, skill gaps, and priority areas for support. The training will focus on translating screening data into clear instructional next steps that directly impact teaching and learning. Teachers will explore how to group students based on need, determine appropriate intervention and enrichment pathways, and begin developing effective Individual Reading Plans (IRPs). The session will provide practical guidance on aligning IRP goals to screener data, selecting targeted strategies, and planning progress monitoring that keeps instruction responsive and focused.Through hands-on examples and collaborative discussion, participants will leave with tools, templates, and a step-by-step process for moving from scores to action. By the end of the session, educators will feel confident using ATLAS data to guide instruction, support struggling readers, and ensure every student has a clear path toward growth.
